DAY 3

Mason's agenda today when we got home was to pull all the DVD's off the shelf by the TV and he accomplished that for sure! He had whole wheat cereal with Mangos and Peaches Earth's Best organic baby food for dinner and he ate it ALL! Daddy gave him a bath, read to him, and put him in bed tonight and he went right to sleep again! He slept all night last night and I am hoping for the same result again. He is so smart and such a great baby...I think it's because of his parents ;)

DAY 2

So last night Mason fell asleep after about 45 minutes of crying and me checking on him every 10 minutes. Then, he woke up around 3 and I only had to go in once and check on him and he was back asleep.

TONIGHT: We had a bath, read Peek-a-Boo I Love You, and then I put him in his bed and off I went downstairs. He was asleep in about 3 minutes! By the time I walked downstairs and got the monitor he was asleep.

Amazing how babies train us :)

When I got home today Mason & I played in the floor. He is such a happy, happy, happy little guy! He screams laughing all day long! His newest trick is holding his own bottle!

SLEEP!

Something I don't get much of these days! Working an hour away and taking Mason with me every morning makes for an EARLY start to our days. We have to leave the house by 6:00-6:15 (I don't have to be at work until 7:40)! I have to get from Keller to Mesquite, drop off Mase, go by the rents to fix my hair and pick up Josh, and THEN I'm off to work! Mason has gone through periods of time where he was sleeping great. Lately, he has NOT been sleeping through the night and it has been like this for awhile now. He is waking up around 1 and around 4 and I have been feeding him a bottle both times. I have got to do something to help him put himself back to sleep! Tonight, I started the cry-it-out method. He cried for about 40 min. with me going to check on him every 10 min. and finally it was silent. I was leaving the room with tears in my eyes! We'll see how it goes later in the night! DAY 1 of this was not easy! I hope that we can both benefit from it in the future! We'll see!
