Life Lately

Logans Nursery: I posted some inspiration pics but now lets talk about what's really happening! I have not had time to make the bedding, yes yes yes, I was home all summer with a 1 year old and being prego! So....baby bedding did not get made. When I came across this bedding on etsy I loved it and thought it was too cute! It was still owl and the colors are little different, but cute! So, Logan will have handmade bedding just not by me!
I also found these cute canvas paintings! My Aunt Cyndi is the artistic one so I am hoping she can come up with something like these.
The walls are finally painted! THANK YOU to my mom & dad who came out and helped Brian paint the room this weekend :) As for the bed and changing table...We got them both for $37!! I know cheap! We bought them off of craigslist. They were so cheap because the changing table was sanded and the bed had one little part on it sanded. We knew we wanted white furniture anyway so we went ahead and bought it for next to nothing! While Brian was finishing up the painting yesterday I was able to sand the rest of the bed with his sander. He then cleaned it off for us and it is ready to prime and paint. The changing table is primed already just needs white paint! I will be 35 weeks on Thursday! I can not believe that I will soon have a newborn baby boy! I can't wait! 2 boys under the age of 2 and every other weekend 3 boys! OMG! I don't think we realize how much our lives are about to change with 2 babies instead of just 1! Here's to getting the bed and changing table painted and put together this week! Doctors Appointment: My 34 week doctors appointment went well! Logan has dropped and we could see his little rib cage expanding..The doctor said he was practicing breathing. It was amazing to see, and I couldn't think about anything else but how awesome our God is! Such a neat experience. Mason never dropped he remained in my rib cage the entire time so it is a nice change to be able to breath! Now there is just major pressure on my bladder and when I walk! Having a baby just 16 months ago increases my chances for pre term labor so I'm hoping Logan waits until he is at least 37 weeks if he is going to make his appearance. If he is not here by October 7th then that will be the day for my c-section! I am so ready to not be prego anymore...so looking forward to that day! School: I have been back at work now for 3 weeks and those 3 weeks have flown by! I have had students back for 2 weeks, and everything is going great! I am on a new team of teachers this year and so far the change is nice! Miss the ones I was working with, but having a great start to the year! I have a little less than 5 more weeks to work if Logan decides to wait. Then, I will be gone for 8 weeks to be with the baby. Things seem so much easier this year...being my 5th year to teach I finally feel like I have it down for the 1st of school. There is soooo much to do with 7th graders. They don't know where to go or how to open their locker....it takes some patience I know that for sure! I think we are finally, after 2 weeks, getting past that to normal school days! Brian: My fantastic husband has been sooo much help latley! It is hard for me to carry Mason upstairs so he takes him to bed at night for me! It has been hard to bend over and stay on my feet all day so he is stuck with a tired, tired Momma at night :) He is truly amazing though!!!
