Mason is 17 months old!
It doesn't seem possible that my baby is already 17 months old and has a little brother!
He is into EVERYTHING these days! He can open our doors because they have handles, so he has free reign of the house. He stands on his tippy toes and is able to open them, the likes to pull everything out of any cabinets or drawers he can get to!
He loves running off with cell phones! He likes to get the TV remote and change the channel while we are watching something. If it's not a human it's a dog! Everything is a dog!
He says Mama (sometimes just mom), dada, ball, baby, bubu, bath, bye, hi, and lots of others I can't think of them all. He is at the stage where he will attempt to repeat what you say.
Picture overload from my phone!
He loves to crawl in the toy box, or any type of box or container!
This was him helping me get my classroom ready for this school year!
Anytime someone has a drink with a straw he wants a drink. He will say uh uh uh until he gets one too!
He is my little commuter :)
If you ask him if he is ready for a bath he runs to the bathtub say bath, bath, bath and tries to take his clothes and diaper off and hikes his leg over the side..He loves baths!
He is learning to use a fork and spoon and eat out of a bowl!
2nd hair cut!
2nd year to the fair, but 1st ride was with Nana!
Petting zoo with Uncle Josh!
Eating an ice cream cone by himself!
Meeting his baby brother!
He's a great big bro.
He loves to crawl in Logan's bed!
At the Poteet football game the cheerleaders handed out suckers and rubbed his all over his face :)
Yesterday, we were looking for him and found he has squeezed himself under the stroller! He is a mess!
These are from my camera. Him at Brian's cousin's wedding:
Loving on Logan!
Loving on Noah!
We love our Mason Wayne and couldn't imagine our lives without him!!!

Trunk or Treat
Yesterday, we went to a Halloween festival at Uncle Todd, Aunt Amy, and the kids church. The weather was great and we had fun!
Rangers Game
Noah's 5th birthday was on August 22nd and we had purchased Ranger tickets for the family and friends to go and celebrate. The date we were supposed to go to the game it was over 100* outside (so glad we are past those days) so we ended up not going until I believe it was September 10th. Noah is playing baseball right now and he was into watching the Rangers. He told us his favorite player is Michael Young and he played for the blue sox :) So cute! We all had a lot of fun at the game!

Logan Ty
Our precious baby boy #2 made his arrival October 7th, 2011. It was a scheduled C-section due to previous attempt to have Mason "the other way" and it didn't work out. There was no reason to put myself through that again...and it was a GREAT decision. We showed up to the hospital at 7:30am, the nurses & anesthesiologists prepped me for surgery. They couldn't find a good place to put my IV and pricked me in 4 different places until it ended up right in the crease of my right arm. Glad it finally worked but not a good place for an IV after the baby came. Other than that everything else went smoothly. Logan was born at 10:20am, 7lbs 10oz, 20.5 inches long.
Just born:
I felt so much better this time after the surgery. I guess it really did take it out of me with Mason to endure labor for 12 hours and THEN have surgery. My first reaction when seeing him was that he was a skinny version of his big bro. I think they look alike, but Logan is smaller than Mase was at birth.

Mason:
We were at the hospital for 3 nights, and everything went well while we were there. I breastfed Logan without supplementing at the hospital and he was 6lbs 15oz when we left, which was a 9% weight loss and they become concerned when it gets to 10%. After visiting the pediatrician he gave us a supplementing regimen to follow and we have been following that for the most part. Breastfeeding for 30 min and then a bottle is doable right now with my hubby home chasing Mason, not sure how long I will be able to do it though. Because of my reduction the milk supply is loowww!!! Wish it wasn't but Mason had formula and he's just fine!
My recovery has been a lot better this time also, as far as the incision goes. It feels a lot better! Now, AROUND the incision NOT so good! My redhead, freckled, sensitive skin self had an allergic reaction to the adhesive in the tape the doctor used to put a bandage over the incision site. She only left it on for 1 day but after I got home it was all red and I couldn't even sleep it was so itchy!!! I used the tube of my prescription in a few days and it was supposed to last me a month, but it is feeling better now!
Logan is such a sweet little relaxed baby! He sleeps soo good for us! 6 or 7 hours at night :0) Mason is coming around to him and loves to give him a tap here and there when he runs by. He also tries to climb in his bed with him!!

Life Lately
Logans Nursery:
I posted some inspiration pics but now lets talk about what's really happening! I have not had time to make the bedding, yes yes yes, I was home all summer with a 1 year old and being prego! So....baby bedding did not get made. When I came across this bedding on etsy I loved it and thought it was too cute! It was still owl and the colors are little different, but cute! So, Logan will have handmade bedding just not by me!
I also found these cute canvas paintings! My Aunt Cyndi is the artistic one so I am hoping she can come up with something like these.
The walls are finally painted! THANK YOU to my mom & dad who came out and helped Brian paint the room this weekend :)
As for the bed and changing table...We got them both for $37!! I know cheap! We bought them off of craigslist. They were so cheap because the changing table was sanded and the bed had one little part on it sanded. We knew we wanted white furniture anyway so we went ahead and bought it for next to nothing!
While Brian was finishing up the painting yesterday I was able to sand the rest of the bed with his sander. He then cleaned it off for us and it is ready to prime and paint. The changing table is primed already just needs white paint!
I will be 35 weeks on Thursday! I can not believe that I will soon have a newborn baby boy! I can't wait! 2 boys under the age of 2 and every other weekend 3 boys! OMG! I don't think we realize how much our lives are about to change with 2 babies instead of just 1!
Here's to getting the bed and changing table painted and put together this week!
Doctors Appointment:
My 34 week doctors appointment went well! Logan has dropped and we could see his little rib cage expanding..The doctor said he was practicing breathing. It was amazing to see, and I couldn't think about anything else but how awesome our God is! Such a neat experience. Mason never dropped he remained in my rib cage the entire time so it is a nice change to be able to breath! Now there is just major pressure on my bladder and when I walk! Having a baby just 16 months ago increases my chances for pre term labor so I'm hoping Logan waits until he is at least 37 weeks if he is going to make his appearance. If he is not here by October 7th then that will be the day for my c-section! I am so ready to not be prego anymore...so looking forward to that day!
School:
I have been back at work now for 3 weeks and those 3 weeks have flown by! I have had students back for 2 weeks, and everything is going great! I am on a new team of teachers this year and so far the change is nice! Miss the ones I was working with, but having a great start to the year! I have a little less than 5 more weeks to work if Logan decides to wait. Then, I will be gone for 8 weeks to be with the baby. Things seem so much easier this year...being my 5th year to teach I finally feel like I have it down for the 1st of school. There is soooo much to do with 7th graders. They don't know where to go or how to open their locker....it takes some patience I know that for sure! I think we are finally, after 2 weeks, getting past that to normal school days!
Brian:
My fantastic husband has been sooo much help latley! It is hard for me to carry Mason upstairs so he takes him to bed at night for me! It has been hard to bend over and stay on my feet all day so he is stuck with a tired, tired Momma at night :) He is truly amazing though!!!

Dieting.
Not the most fun thing to do! However, Brian & I started the 17 Day Diet on Thursday. We got the idea from my parents who just bought the book as well. I downloaded the book on my MacBook Pro using the Kindle app and loved how easy that is to do! I heard somewhere you can share books using that app but I have no idea how? As far as the diet goes it is 3 cycles of 17 days. On cycle 1 we are eating nonfat plain yogurt, greek yogurt, certain fruits, salad, any kind of turkey, grilled or baked chicken, any kind of fish. It is a big change around here because we like our red meat and potatoes! I believe in cycle 2 we can add in some whole wheat pastas and bread maybe? I'm not that far in the book yet.
Today is Day 5 of the diet for us and I have lost 6 lbs. so far. I have not been doing the diet as strict as Brian...I have been adding in some carbs for little Logan :) But, I do have some weight to lose and know that it will be easier after the baby comes if I start some healthier habits now. I had only gained 9 lbs this pregnancy so I have 3 more lbs. and I will weigh what I did when I started this pregnancy. I know I can't judge the weight loss when it comes to the very end of this pregnancy, but none the less I am going to be healthier and be able to lose weight after the baby comes. I will be 30 weeks on Thursday!
Brian has lost 8lbs. so far and he is doing awesome on the diet! We went to Canton this weekend and he took a tuna packet with him and added it to a salad he bought! Usually we would have had something fried for sure!
We found this link that has recipes for the different cycles and have tried a few of them that have been good and some not so good! Like adding cocoa to greek yogurt...yuck! I didn't like it at all and was excited because I was craving something chocolatey! I am still searching for some good recipes so please share if you know how to doctor up some yogurt or chicken!
We are looking forward to being healthier!
